Merging two separate Keynote slideshows

Is there a way to merge two Keynote slideshows into one slideshow? I'm a fairly new Mac user and don't know how to do many technical things with Keynote...
Thanks for any assistance.

There's no menu command to do this. Have both documents open, click in the 'Slides' area of the window of one document and hit command-a to select all slides. Click drag them to the 'Slides' area of the other document- place them where you want them to start. It helps to have the 'Slides' of the target document at the correct place for them (eg at the beginning or end).

The alternative is just to link the files. Search for 'Linking to a Keynote file' in the help.

Sorry, do you mean a slide show narration? That will be tricky I suspect. You may need to merge the two audio files but I'm not sure how exactly you go about that. I imagine you would have to locate the narration files (they will be in the keynote package), merge them together and save back into the 'single' version of the keynote presentation.

Searching for narration in this forum will give you the name of the file you are looking for. You'd probably use something like Garageband to edit the two together. Hopefully someone else can help with exact instructions.

You are not able to easily have multiple songs on one keynote presentation. You get one song as the "soundtrack" of the entire file, or you can have a song dedicated to one slide at a time.... yes, you read that correctly. It is a bummer.

There are work-arounds. Use Garage Band to merge songs with appropriate timing gaps and then use that as a massive "soundtrack".

Use the search function in here to see where I posted how to do this a month ago or so.

It works!
