iTunes 9.0.3 bugs and slowness?

Sometime recently I updated iTunes to 9.0.3(15), and I've been experiencing some new problems that I'm guessing are a result of the update. When I try to use the two-finger trackpad gesture to scroll the artist chooser list on the left side of column view, it repeatedly sort of seems to scroll but then flickers back up. Also, whenever I try to do anything with music on my iPod Touch through iTunes on my Mac (even just select a song without playing it), it's EXTREMELY slow. Could that be a result of iTunes 9.0.3, or is it more likely due to the fact that I only have about 40 MB of space free on my iPod Touch?

Whatever the source of these problems is, does anyone know of something I can do to fix them? I've tried to find somewhere to download iTunes 9.0.2 to see if that will fix it, but I can't find it anywhere reliable (and downgrading would probably cause even more problems).

Macbook Pro 15" late 2008, iPod Touch 2nd gen 8GB, Mac OS X (10.6.2)
