F1-F9 and right shift key -not working

It's a pretty weird problem, but that's about it. These keys just randomly stopped working, not sure when, though it's quite inconvenient.

I have the same problem. The right-shift key will not function after the system is running for some time and it happens randomly. It will go away after restart.

It happened on Leopard and then now on my fresh installed Snow leopard.
