Only one headphone working?

Hi- does anyone know what might be causing this? :

I have a new ipod Classic (I got it less than 6 months ago) and recently it's only been playing through the left headphone. I've tried it with three different sets of 'phones/speakers and the problem persists, so it's definitely a problem with the ipod. It's really new so I'm annoyed that it's broken already! What do I do?

Do you perhaps wrap your headphones around your iPod, with it still plugged in, when not using it?

You have a broken headphone jack, since it is still under warranty make a Genius Bar appointment and take it to an Apple Store or send it in for service.

Ah, thanks. I didn't know that could break it!

How do I send it in for service? When I click the "request service" link it takes me back to the log in page. 😟

I have the same issue. Purchased my iPod Classic in October and the headphone jack just stopped working correctly last night. Tried three sets of headphones.
