Bluetooth file transfer with Samsung S5230 Tocco Lite

I've just got a new phone - Samsung Tocco Lite S5230.

Bluetooth to my iMac works, but only has limited functionality.
I can browse the phone from my Mac, but I can only see files if they are in the root directory or the first child directory. I can see all the directories (images, sounds, etc.), but double-clicking doesn't show any files past the first child level.
I can't see the micro SD card, either.

Basically, this means that I can "send" files from the Mac to the phone, but I can't "get" them - the "get" button is greyed out.

From the phone, I can send files to the Mac, no problem. Thing is, I can only send one photo at a time. If I could browse the photos from the Mac, I could get the whole lot in one go.

Any suggestions?

It may be that the phone doesn't support this particular action. Some don't.

I had a Sony Ericsson phone that did exactly the same, but fortunately, it had an option to send multiple files from the phone. I'd double check the phone's manual to see if there is such an option hidden away somewhere.
