iMovie error publishing to youtube

Is your internet connection okay? Did the error dialog pop up before or after you were prompted to log in with your YouTube account details?

I'm experiencing the same problem and I just don't get it.

Same with me......can not publish because of some unknown error the error has been (-50) and (-43)..What are these??

Best to import once directly to YouTube through their web interface. This way maybe you can pinpoint the source of the error. It is usually a wrong userid or password.

I agree.
I find that the most reliable way to publish to YouTube is to export your project to QuickTime.
And if you use MPEG-4 compression (rather than H.264), you will have a smaller file size with no loss in quality.
Then log into your YouTube account from your internet browser (Safari or ...) and upload from there.
You have lots of other options in QuickTime (eg. HD) as well.

I do get the same experience each time I try to export my HD (from Panasonic FZ38) movies.
Generally, no more than 3 minutes videos!
I found out that, after a new start of my MacPro (OS 10.6.3), it works correctly 'till next export.
Re-starting the Mac is an obligation!
Any idea will be welcome!

There is a solution! It is related to a bug with a youtube account linked to a google account. Log in with your google account in imovie (using the full email address) and it will work
