I guess so - just wondered if any user out there could say 'I've managed to store approx. x number of apps. and I've still got space - point is, I'm considering buying the 64 GB but it's not cheap.
You can install more apps than can be displayed, and still have room for music and videos.
However, if you happen to choose an app that has several gigabytes of data associated with it (a mapping program perhaps), then your mileage will vary.
100k to over 1GB for GPS apps.
Most are between 1MB and 20MB.
But the range is huge. I've never heard of anyone running out of room for apps.
In fact, I have 140 apps on my 16GB and more than half of the space free.
Lots of music there too.
IMHO, you're worrying about something that's not worth worrying about.
Thanks for all your advice - a work colleague brought an itouch to work - at last, a gadget that is actually practical - really impressed with the range of applications you can find.
Wow, that's impressive - I would have thought that the apps would have taken up more space than that. My point is, I think the map facility is a really great idea - but you need wifi - or download the map - then you're thinking, em, how much space does that need?!
