Convert PDF to PS

Can anyone tell me how to convert a PDF file to a postscript or .rtf? I tried installing a "localhost" printer, but Adobe Reader does not allow me to save as a .ps file.

I believe I have charged that windmill
at least four times.

As I recall unless you want to buy more adobe product$
the pdf is locked up pretty tight.

pdfs started as a tightly closed format
now its a popular but still closed format (cheaper than gifs?)

Makes you want to buy into flash, doesn't it.

Print from Preview. Choose "Save as PostScript..." from the PDF menu.

I stand corrected.
You can get a ps file as you say.
I am out of date.

Not sure what the original poster had in mind
but its not where I was headed.
I looked and all the ps "text" is locked up in binary
I wanted to release the text from the pdf file.
