Hi there - did you figure out a solution for this?

I am in a similar boat - new MBP but I have an Aperture 2 license. Now I can't find a place to download it.

Please let me know if you found a solution or if there is anyone else who can help?

Yes, found a solution to this problem. I called Apple support and they sent me a link to the Aperture 2.1.4 Trial. Going to the link prompts you to download the DMG file for the trial. You then just have to enter they Key that you bought to activate the full version. Apple says they don't know how long they will be able to keep this link up so they suggest that you save the DMG file that you download in a safe place – burn it on a disc, put it on a backup hard drive or somewhere that if the software runs into a problem you will have a way to reinstall 2.0.

So there you go. Hope this helps those of you having trouble. <This link is a direct download>

I've managed to download the file in the link, but the installer appears only to be adding 512kb to my hard drive - and there's no Aperture app in my apps folder...anyone else have any ideas where to download Ap2?
