Error Code -39 was returned by the audio driver

We can't answer until you tell us what audio device you are using, since Logic uses a great variety of them.

Error -39 is described everywhere as "End of File", which may mean that one of the audio files you are using is corrupted: the data marking the end of the file is missing or has shifted to some earlier point in the file making it impossible to play until the (real) end of file.
Save the project under a different name, then start removing audio files from that 'new' version, one by one, until the error disappears. Then try and play the 'guilty' file in another program (iTunes), to confirm that it is corrupted.

One usually get this error while trying to play different types of audiofile. e.g.
Two 24bit 48k + 1 16bit 28k + 2 16bit 44.1kHz...

Not recommended at all, work with same file type all the way you should be ok.
