Nokia 5800 sync

Nokia do not seem to supply a down load to sync with my mac.

Yes, they do. Just type 5800 into the Quick Search box on this page:

However, most Nokia devices sync via Bluetooth, not USB.

I have the same problem. Have downloaded the Nokia 5800 iSync plug-in, on opening the package all is ok till I get to the select drive this has a yellow exclamation mark and a note under the drive saying "the phone plug-in can't be installed on this disk. Please upgrade to the latest version of iSync using Software Update."
Have checked SU and all is up to-date iSync v3.1.1 on OS 10.6.3. can you offer any further advice on this subject.

Sounds like you have moved the iSync application from it's correct location in the main "Applications" folder - perhaps you moved it into a sub-folder? If so, move it back to where it's supposed to be, and re-run the installer.

You are a legend! I do not remember moving the iSync app from Applications into the Utilities folder... but copying it back got rid of the error.
