Hello! Can anyone please tell me how to import .midi files into my iTunes library, then convert those files into .mp3 to burn onto a CD?

Thank you for your help!

File- > Add file to library and select the midi file.
iTunes prefs - General, clcik the *Import settings* button.
Set it to MP3 (or whatever you want).
Right click the midi file -> Create MP3 version.

Thanks for your help. I am having difficulty adding the file into the Music Library. I am getting the file from another location on my hard drive, not from a CD. When I try to import or drag the file, nothing happens. I've set up a "playlist" with the name of the tune, and try to import, but this is unsuccessful.

Also, when trying to change the import settings, it seems to be for importing from a CD, not from another file location.

Does this midi file play elsewhere?
I am getting the file from another location on my hard drive, not from a CD.

Doesn't matter. File -> Add file to library will work if the file is compatible.
Also, when trying to change the import settings, it seems to be for importing from a CD, not from another file location.

It is for importing or converting.

It says "Import Using:" and I've selected MP3 Encoder

The files play both in iTunes and Quick Time Player.

    Did you get it sorted?
I am having difficulty adding the file into the Music Library

    Then you wrote,
"The files play both in iTunes and Quick Time Player"

If it plays in iTunes then there is no difficulty in adding it the the music library.
