How long time for a complete reset?
I have started a reset on the iPhone
Settings/General/Reset/Erase all contents and Settings.
I understand it will take 2 hrs or more (as stated in the manual) but this is now running for nearly 12 hrs and still running.
The screen has the apple logo plus - from time to time - a "time wheel" over the lower edge of the apple. The wheel does not turn (as e.g. when a web site is loading). It is stationary but then it disappears for a while and then comes back. I have also noted twice that the screen quickly "flashes" to dark and then the apple logo comes back. Since I don't watch it all the time, this might have happened several times without be noticing.
How long can this take? (I use the iPhone 3Gs 32 on 3.1.2. I used approx 20 GB of available space)
