Colorsync Devices Removal Problem

Hi. I have a problem understanding how to remove a printer in Colorsync. In Colorsync Devices on the left hand side is list of Registered Colorsync devices. Here I have my Epson Scanner with a blue dot in the default column. No Cameras. Displays = iMac with a blue dot. Printers with a HP Photosmart with a blue dot and under that my Epson Stylus printer. I no longer have the HP printer and would like to make the Epson the default printer, but I can't find any way to remove it out of the Colorsync listing. I have deleted the HP printer drivers and all the HP software it came with. So how does Colorsync still think it is my default printer? Clicking on the HP printer shows the printer ID on the right along with its Mode and System/Library. . . paths. Clicking on my Epson shows its ID on the right with the Make Default Printer box greyed out. Surly there must be a way to change this.
