Recommended UPS(2009 Mac PRO)

After going through a tornado storm, and having multiple power losses I have decided to invest into a very reliable Backup battery/UPS. Now I have done my research on the Apple discussions, and I found a recent post where a guy purchased a cyberpower UPS. After looking the UPS up on Newegg I was shocked how cheep it was being under $200. That being said, I work at a large school district as one of the network admins. We ONLY use APC and have the 1000 series(about $500) on all of our switch locations. Im looking for someone who has a UPS and has tested the "UP-time" after power loss etc. Please let me know what model your UPS is. Also, I have a Dell 30" and a Dell 22" that i would like to get on the same UPS.

I just wanted to add this model I've been using for the last 5 years, and it's been a God send
even in the last few days of quirky 1.0 second power cuts lately.

He's a rack mount model I use sitting vertical.
Sitting this way only takes up a 3 inch foot print Vs 19" if laying flat.
OPTI-UPS ES-RM Serie ES 1500C-RM UPS, and Google search shows him about $225 - $250.

I would definitely recommend going with a Smart-UPS 1500 over the RS 1500 version. They're much more reliable units and offer much more industrial protection. The RS version is a home use version while the SUA1500 is more of a data center unit. For Apple applications the SUA1500 is much more reliable, will offer a greater run time and much better power filtration capabilities. If budget is not an issue, you can always go for the top protection with the SMT1500 which is the newest model of the 1500. There's no point of trying to buy the cheapest UPS as it just won't provide the required protection and will end up leading to some sort of data loss or hardware loss. Might as well get proper protection.
