Auto pause song

Hi
I need to run a song that automatically stops completely at various points and can be resumed with the play button. In other words I want it to play a section and not play the next section until I tell it to, the pause time is random and I wouldn't have enough time to load a new song.

cheers

Thanks guys for your swift response, not sure what a midi master track is but here is I I've done it:

In a new track (software or external midi) open lists and create a meta event at the point you want your track to stop. Change its value (Val) to 52 (stop playback) and your track will stop there. Unfortunately it stops a fraction before the event so you can't restart it as it immediately stops again. I got around this by inserting gaps and creating markers, then using ctrl . keystoke (go to next marker) and pressing play from there.

Its a bit of an ugly fix so if anyone can come up with a more elegant solution I would be eternally grateful.

can't see anything in the manuals that helps with this...but it is a big manual 😉
