Today, for the first time, iTunes will not let me 'download all free updates' to my iphone apps from my computer

I have one mac account although I swap between two credit cards on two accounts - one for home purchases and one for business purchases.

What does the dialog box message mean? And how can I get round it?

The upgrades are all free, but many of the apps were originally paid for by me (using the blocked account). Has Apple some sort of liability to provide their customers the upgrade service as part of the purchase plan, or does it offer no warranty that I will be able to access app upgrades when they become available?

I have the same thing. It looks like it's the store. What is happening is that instead of the store showing you only the updates for the account you are logged into, it shows you the updates for all of your accounts. So if you try & update an app that was purchased with another account, you get that message. This is a pain, as you have to go through the apps individually (update all just gives you an error) , and then log out & into the other account again to get the rest of the updates.

Thanks jrentzke.

It is not a multiple account issue for me. I have only one account, although I use two credits cards which I swap between to make payments depending on whether I am buying personal or business software.

I found that I could update each app individually too. I guess that is a solution, although not a very elegant one. Should I close this thread as 'solved' now, or leave it open in the hope that Apple sees it and responds?

I'm having the same problem as well. I have to accounts authorized on this computer. But only one is used regularly. I have my phone and my wife's phone synced onto my account however. It might have something to do with that. Or maybe with "lite" versions of apps. Either way it has to be an issue with the latest version of the app store. Hopefully apple is working on an update for this issue.
