Podcasts on ipod, but not in iTunes

Podcasts on ipod, but not in iTunes

My Ipod touch has podcasts on it that only show up in the podcast section on the device. However, they do not appear in the podcast section of iTunes, so I cannot delete them from my device and they are taking up a significant amount of memory.

Is there a way to fix this so I can delete the podcast on my ipod touch?

ipod touch 2gen, Windows XP

Hello adr 150,

So have you tried deleting them directly from your iPod Touch? To do so, navigate to the Podcasts section of your iPod. Then tap and hold your finger over one of the podcasts until they all start to wiggle and small X's appears on each podcast. Go ahead and hit this small X on any and every podcast you wish to delete.

Go to the Podcast section of your iPod's Music app. Swipe your finger across the podcast you want to delete and tap the red "Delete" button that will appear.

thanks Jim!

I didn't know that you could do this in the music app. I have often thought, 'it would be really nice to be able to delete songs/podcasts straight from the ipod'

learn something new every day!
