My iPod won't turn on at all

sounds like a bad battery. could be the display too

Maybe its in like DFU/Restore mode. Try holding the power and home button.

the same thing has happened to me today.
i got itouch same month as you.
it would not turn on, so i pressed the sleep & home button together & my touch turned on.
but ever since that happened, the problem has gotten alot worse!
my itouch has been freezing on me & LAGGING TREMENDOUSLY!
i restored my touch, & it got even worse...

I had almost the same problem. I got my iPod Touch this Christmas too, but today suddenly the screen turned white and it wouldn't turn on or off anymore. Neither my computer nor my iTunes recognized my iPod anymore but then I came to this topic and found that I had to hold the power-button and the home-button at the same time. So I tried...

And it worked!

I'm very happy now, thanks everybody for posting this tip. and I hope that your problems with your iPod will work themselves out too!

I just got my new IPod touch last friday (friday march 12th, 2010), and after about 6 hours of use, it's totally crashed... It's fully charged, but it won't open, it can't connect to my laptop, on any usb port...

Anyway, does anyone else find it curious that it happens to all of us on the day when we change daylight saving time? Can it be a bug in the OS?

mine white screened today and I have held both buttons down at the same time and still nothing. I had this happen one other time and I reset the whole thing and it came back up, but this time I haven't been so lucky. What do I need to do next?
