Can't access google

I honestly don't know what I've changed on my mac, but all of a sudden I can't connect to google. It's very odd. I can connect to gmail, google calendar, but not google. I have tried Safari, Firefox, and Chrome. In some cases, it won't connect to sites with google ads on them as well.

I have restarted numerous times and I have disabled Little Snitch. Does anyone have any ideas what I may have done?

Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

My apologies, but I just uninstalled Little Snitch and this fixed my issues. I just assumed turning it off would work.

Youtube also won't work. Both from youtube.com and videos embedded from youtube. Anyone have any suggestions? Did an application somehow add some sort of block to my firewall? Like I said, no other computer on my network are having any issues connecting to any sites.

Wow. Nobody has any clues? Everything works fine in Virtualbox with Windows 7, so I know that it's possible. Everything works fine when plugged in, so it's with my wireless connection...

Is IPv6 turned off when you're using wireless?

What happens if you try accessing Google directly by going to 74.125.45.104?

Some others have had a similar issue in the past when a DNS server started serving an IPv6 address for Google but their router could not handle IPv6 connections.

using the ip address connects immediately, then when I search it stops, and says "connecting to www.google.com" In my network settings, ipv6 is set to automatic.

If you look at this image, you'll see that my google notifiers can't connect either.

I just called Comcast and the tech said that ipv6 isn't available yet except if I pay extra, looked into my account and told me I have not signed up for it and this wouldn't be the issue.

Now that I think of this, I had installed Little Snitch for a few weeks then uninstalled it a few days ago.. Think that could be my issue? I used the app from their website to uninstall it.

I used appdelete to get rid of all traces of little snitch, so I doubt that's the issue, however, it may have changed something, but I'm not even sure that's the issue.

Well after messing around and resetting my router, upgrading the firmware, reinstalling and uninstalling little snitch, restoring my computer from a time machine backup to have that fail and tell me I need to install an OS, installing my OS again, restoring my time machine backup...

And all it was, was a switch in the settings that actually made it work.

Actually, setting IPv6 to OFF in Network Preferences will break other things. A better solution is to set the +IPv6 configuration on the router+ either to "Link-local Only" or use a manually configured IPv6 tunnel.

The technical explanation for how this happens is convoluted, but the basic story is that Google and You Tube refuse to deploy 6to4 relay routers to support their IPv6 operations, so if you're using 6to4 to connect, you may experience degraded or completely nonfunctional service.
