3 axis chart (equivalent for surface charts in MS excel)

Numbers doesn't have them. With some effort you can kind of simulate a 3-axis bar chart using multiple overlapping 3-D bar charts but it's not a very good simulation in my opinion and it takes some effort. I can't think of a way to simulate a 3-axis surface plot. I suppose it could be roughly simulated by interpolating your data to create numerous intermediate points then plotting a 3-D line chart of all that interpolated data but it will not be smooth.
