iPhone Sync from PC to Mac

I recently purchased my first Mac and plan to retire my old PC. However, I am having trouble synching my iPhone. I heard a rumor that I can only access my iTunes account from the original computer. Is this true? Any advice?

Iphone will sync with one computer at a time. If you sync to another it will first erase the itunes content and pics from your iphone, then replace with content from the new computer.

You should move everything from the old computer to the new one first, then sync. The Apple Store will do this for you, or you can call Apple Support and they will help you. You can also use your backup copy to do this.

If you add one unique contact and calendar entry in the new computer, then you should get the option to merge when you first sync.
