Mac will not recognize my iPhone. a restart will resolve but...?

Sure, update your OS. Mac OS X v10.4.11 is the absolute minimum you can run & still sync your phone.

I am having the same problem running the same OS X. also will not post email out with photos. apple store could not figure it out. says password has not been entered but it has???

also, weird things with mail. here the alarm that mail has arrived and can see it for a second. then it disappears and comes back a few minutes later!

local calls fail to go out - yuck! this is my third iphone. i am not happy with this!

What update can we do? Go to Leopard? Now my computer will not recognize my phone at all even if I restart the computer or the phone or reboot the phone.

Ok, saw in another thread that reinstalling itunes will fix problem. that is what i did and it seems to be working now. you do not remove itunes first, just reinstall on top of previous one.
