Picture Messages (iPhone 3G)

Hello,
Up until last Thursday I was able to receive picture messages, now they are not coming through. I have had people send me pictures to test my phone and I get nothing.

I haven't downloaded any apps, or even plugged my phone into itunes recently. I called ATT and they said everything is fine on their end. I have shut down the phone and restarted it.

Any suggestions would help. Thanks.

You're welcome.

There are a couple of other troubleshooting steps copied from the link provided that you haven't mentioned.

+7. Reset your Wi-Fi and cellular network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.+
+Note: You will need to reenter any Wi-Fi network or APN settings after the reset.+

APN settings don't apply to AT&T users.

+8. If the issue persists and your wireless carrier has confirmed that your wireless account is provisioned for MMS, restore the iPhone.+

i have a 3GS, have tried all of the above, but still have issues both sending & receiving MMS/Pictures.

i can receive pictures, sometimes. i was able to send pictures, but haven't had any success in nearly 2 weeks. as far as i can tell, the picture sends without error. i don't get any message or alert saying otherwise. it hesitates near the end of the sending process, but finishes without any error message. the photos are never received...

what gives??? i've tried sending to people on sprint phones and even to people on other 3GS phones, with no success.

i've talked with an at&t tech and they found no issues... this is not what i signed on for. if i pay for a service, i'd like that service to function properly...
