another temp workaround is to go to edit/pref/store on your itunes window and select "use full window for itunes store". This should work. Note that to get back to your library there is a an "x" close window button on the far left of the itunes store menu bar.
We need to flood Apple's tech support email box with messages about this problem. It's been almost 2 days since this problem started and it hasn't been fixed yet. I sent an email to Apple and got a response from their tech support telling me to adjust my screen resolution, which has nothing to do with my problem since my screen resolution is fine.
Apple support appears to be unaware of the missing scrollbar in iTunes. So everyone who reads this needs to send Apple an email, via iTunes customer support, so that they know this isn't an isolated issue.
I also discovered this problem last night, fortunately I've already downloaded essential tunes but it's so frustrating not to be able to download podasts.
Bizarre! Also apple are probably losing thousands of sales each day due to frustrated customers.
Another solution:
You can also go to Edit > Preferences then to the Store tab and tick the "Use full window for iTunes Store" this will allow you to see more of the store page and you probably won't need to scroll. What were they thinking when they took the scroll bars away?

Thanks for the work arounds that everyone has come up with.
A strange thing - if you go into any of the Essentials (I checked about 10 so far) - the scroll bar is back at the bottom of the window. I just noticed it before and thought it was fixed on all the other pages. However so far it seems to be only in the essential windows.
A temporary fix, at least for windows users, is to double click the 'istore' button in iTunes. It opens up a another window that DOES have the side-to-side scrollbar.
Edit: Or I should say when you double click the iTunes Store button in iTunes it will create a new window that is big enough to show everything on the page.
I found if you hold both mouse buttons down and go to the right of the screen 9in areas where there are no links) it will take you to the right or left of the screen. A pain, but it works for me
Same here!!! Why won't anyone answer this question? I can't add anything to the wishlist anymore because I can't see the button. I've tried closing and re-opening and everything!!! Does anyone know what to do?
