SCSI hard drives vs. IDE in my Sawtooth

I recently got my 450 MHZ Sawtooth G4, which has 2 SCSI cards installed. I immediately replaced the oringal IDE drive with the 80 GB IDE drive that I recently had put in my B&W, which I recently decomissioned. Since the IDE bus speed for the Sawtooth is ATA66 (I believe, and I think my new IDE drive is ATA100, which would run at the ATA 66 system bus speed)), would the data access time be faster with a SCSI drive hooked to one of my SCSI cards or my new IDE drive?
