Cant access iTunes Library?

Hi, I think I have disabled my acess to my iTunes Library. When i access a song from the finder and try and open it in iTunes it says:

The iTunes Library File is located, on a locked disk, or you do not have write permission for the file.

It was working fine before but since I tried to use Supoersync I cannot access my files.. I can see them in finder but if I try and open it that message appears...

Thanks,

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

not sure this will fix your issue but it won't harm trying:

check if you have read & write permissions for your iTunes music folder. in finder, right-click on it and +get info+. unlock the little padlock (you may have to enter your admin password) and change the permission settings. next, click on the little gear-shaped icon and +apply to enclosed items+ like so

User uploaded file

you may also give everyone read & write access. if this doesn't help, try the same on your iTunes folder (not just the iTunes music folder).

what happens ?
