I don't understand what you are asking?

If you mean, is there a software version of the Wavestation - yes, there is in the Korg Legacy Digital Edition, and it's great (I have both the hardware and the software).

If you mean samples, then no, not really, and samples alone won't get you to WS territory, and these are the copyright of Korg anyway and so can't be distributed.

If you mean can you control, edit and manage your WS SR from your computer, I use SoundDiver for this.

Yes, the Wavestation from KORG's Legacy Collection nails the sound. But its patch and bank management is a nightmare. You never know what other sounds you just destroyed by changing a Tone, Patch or Performance.

Which is why that you always create independent patches & wave sequences, or copy existing ones to a new location before editing them, thus ensuring that your sounds don't interfere with any others.

My point exactly. All locations are used (right ?) so you are overwriting something every time. I haven't found a way to port the Performance/Patch/Tone combis I do like to another empty bank if just for organizing them to my liking.

The RAM banks are for your own patches.

Clear them out and use them for your own patches. You don't have to leave all the presets in there, and can reload them at a later date.

Admittedly, the software version isn't very good at patch management - I use SoundDiver for my hardware WS which makes this all easy, and I can also custom compile banks in there before pulling them into the software.

But bottom line - clear out the RAM banks and use them for your own patches, and save those to aupreset format. You can then save and load the contents of those RAM banks as you need.
