Preview - blank screen for jpg files
At some point Preview stopped displaying jpeg files and shows only a blank screen. When I open a group, it does show the thumbnails, but no image in the main screen.
iMac 21.5, Mac OS X (10.6.2)
Had same problem—All jpegs appeared white when I opened them into preview, thumbnail showed the file. But I found a fix:
I also tried installing combo update 10.6.2 and a safe boot to no avail.
Solution was to quit preview and go to user>library>preferences and delete the 3 preview .plist files (com.apple.Preview.bookmarks.plist etc) and voila!
