Epson R800 Rip Software compatibility?

hi! i need to purchase 3rd party rip postscript software to run with adobe photoshop and my new espon R800. Can anyone recommend one? thanks!

G5 Power Mac, Mac OS X (10.4.2)

First - is there some reason you need RIP software? Have you tried the Epson driver yet? (It is RIP software)

There is a RIP driver for sale at www.printfab.net.

hi greg. thanks for your help. epson recommends it to improve the quality of the ink jet print output from photoshop. the epson is not a post script printer and when the image rips to the printer, epson throws away some of the photoshop info.

do you think printfab will work well with 10.4.2 and my epson R800?

We've heard good reports about printfab, but I don't have personal experience. Since it has a 30 day free trial, maybe you can test it for us?
