Q: Preserving attributes with CVCP

Hello,

I am attempting to copy data from an Xsan volume to an external RAID.

The command I am using is:

cvcp -xyz /Volumes/Xsan /Volumes/RAID

The file modification times, ownership, and permissions are preserved fine. However, all the directories have the incorrect modification times.

The ditto command preserves all the data correctly, but the transfer times are much longer.

Is it possible to preserve directory modification times while using the CVCP command?
