Weird .wav problem - only some will work

I've got a bunch of Zero-G sample libraries, but have major problems with three (Celtic, eVolution and Seismic Frequencies).

The problem is that some of the .wav samples in each of these packs work absolutely fine with Logic - I can drag them into the Media browser and it views them with all my other Apple loops and audio samples.

However, there are others which don't - Logic simply won't import them, whatever I try. If I try to drag them on to the media browser, the familiar plus-in-a-green-circle doesn't appear and it won't import them any other way either.

There doesn't seem to be any recognisable difference (such as length of file name, etc) between those that work and those that don't - it's got me absolutely stumped.

I've tried refreshing the library and all sorts, but nothing will change the fact that Logic imports some of the .wav files OK but not others.

I have tried contacting ZeroG about this, with no luck so far.

Has anyone else had a similar problem and/or can make any suggestions, please?

I have done some more tests and this is the situation:

The .wav files which are causing the problems play fine in Quicktime Player, they will play if you preview them by hitting the space bar and you can import them into Waveburner OK.

In Logic, they also work fine if you drag them to the Arrange Window. However... you cannot import them directly to the Loops media browser window.

However... if you drag them to the Arrange window first, and THEN to the media browser window, the Loops media browser will then import them OK!

So the problem has to be something about those particular .wav files and the Apple Loops media browser, which dragging them to the Arrange window first fixes.

It's very strange and, once again, all ideas and suggestions would be very welcome. I'd rather not have to drag every single one to the Arrange window first as there are so many.
