Syncing two external hard drives together?

Hi everybody
I have two external hard drives, identical makes and storage capacity. i would like it so that i can sync the contents of both of them together.

i'm already using one, divided into an NTFS and a HFS+ partition with my Mac. i've just bought a second and I'd like to have an identical copy of the first [for security purposes]

- what would the easiest way to do this be? they both interface by USB and I have the port space on my MBP to attach both at once.

thank you very much indeed! 🙂

Try SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Cloner.

Just to expand on what DaddyPaycheck said - use one of the drives day to day (call it the work drive) while the other sits back and relaxes (call it the clone). On a schedule set by you, run a cloning program such as CCC or SuperDuper! to copy the contents of your work drive to the clone drive. I use SuperDuper! for this process and use the scheduling feature to run it weekly.
