to run a .command file

Hello All,

I'm trying to install icalBuddy 1.7.1 in which you have to launch "install.command" but I get this message...

The file “install.command” could not be executed because you do not have appropriate access privileges.

I've tried using the "chmod 755/Users/ ****/Documents/icalbuddy/install.command" in the terminal.

and I get this message...

usage: chmod [-fhv] [-R [-H | -L | -P]] [-a | +a | =a [# [ n]]] mode|entry file ...
chmod [-fhv] [-R [-H | -L | -P]] [-E | -C | -N | -i | -I] file ...
I'm not sure if it has worked at this point or if there is something I am missing.
p.s. I already tried changing the access privileges to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
