keyboard troubles

Certain letters on my keyboard have started typing different characters. For example, the letter 'k' (I have to copy and paste that) loo˚s li˚e that (˚), and capital loo˚s li˚e . I am able to type the letter if I hit a bunch of buttons quic˚ly li˚e this: jlkjljoij. But sometimes when I do that other letters show up the li˚e the gree˚ letter nu. The 'k' button quic˚ly followed by 'e' loo˚s li˚´that (˚´), among other similar problems. Also, when I'm typing and press the left arrow ˚ey, the cursor moves all the way to the beginning of the word, rather than one character over.

This is across all applications, safari, ichat, itunes, mail, etc.

I tried resetting the ˚eyboard but nothing changed. My last option is ta˚ing it to the Apple store.
