I'm trying to migrate my FCSvr system from a Mac Pro Dual-core to a Mac Pro Quad-Core.
I've copied the Dual-Core with a backup of Time Machine into the Quad-core, and everything works great except Final Cut Server. When I try to connect the database in System Preferences I get this message: "there was an error communicating with the server. Database is not running. Please start up the database server".

I've tried to uninstall and reinstall FCSvr in the Quad-Core but I have this other message: "Final Cut Server could not be started. The FCSvr launchd files could not be found. Please reinstall FCSvr"

Any idea?
Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

    1. Do a fresh OS install and migrate the data. Why Time Machine?
    2. Restore the catalog. I hope you did set up the backup on the old server.

Mac SE30 was the start, Mac OS 8.6 or Earlier, all the latest  stuff
