Powerpoint Disappeared

All my Powerpoint files have disappeared. Excel and word files are fine. Can I retrieve the Powerpoint files? I did not delete the files and don't think there is a way I could have deleted all of them.

I realized I probably misunderstood. You still have the Application, but the data is missing?
A really good search tool is freeware, EasyFind.

Search by file name. Set "Settings" to "Scan all Files."

Maybe try MS tech support

Do you have a backup? (You probably wouldn't be here if you did, but thought I'd ask all the same.)

Great to hear you found the missing files, but I'm wondering how they went astray. How much free space do you have on the drive? Things can get pretty strange when it gets too low. You need to keep around 15% minimum free. Can you also Verify the drive or the volume from Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities. And if you select the volume, you'll be able to see how much space is available.
