I second Martin's comment that the wired Mighty Mouse is fine and wish to add this little story.
I have had one for nearly 2 years and until a couple of weeks ago I was not pleased with it because whenever I wanted to control-click on a very specific point, the mouse jerked the cursor and was very fiddly to use.
A fortnight ago I was talking to a fellow FCS user who happened to mention the left and right buttons on the mouse.
"What left and right buttons?" I demanded. "There aren't any! Just a single click like the original Apple mouse."
She begged to disagree but I shut my ears to the twaddle she was uttering.
A few days later I actually opened up System Preferences>Mouse and after a bit of studying realised that there
were 2 buttons but both of them had been assigned (presumably by me) as "Primary Buttons", which meant that my mouse was effectively a single button one.
Oh! As for the control-clicking moving the cursor, well in my stupidity I had assigned the ctrl-click function to the scroll wheel button, which of course is very sensitive to the slightest movement!
So now I have got that small matter sorted, I am very pleased with Senor Mighty Mouse.
