How to transfer pictures from iPhoto to the USB

Hey all,

Ok, I plugged my USB in, imported a photo album to iPhoto, and edited some pictures. Now, I wanna transfer those pictures back to my USB, BUT it wont let me. Whenever I drag a photo to an album from my USB it always says "cannot be moved. Album cannot be modified".. Can anyone help me?
would appreciate it.

Thanks!

USB what? USB is a connection protocol, not a device of any sort - are you talking about a USB card reader? USB flash drive? USB hard drive? Camera? Web Cam? ???

TO transfer photos from iPhoto to a USB storage device select the photos in iPhoto and export them to a desktop folder (file menu ==> export), mount the USB storage device to the desktop and drag the photos to the UDB storage device
