Anyone know if these iPad accessories will work on the iPhone too?

    In a word, no.

Check at the bottom of the Overview section - Compatible With - iPad only.

I know the iPad camera connection kit only works on the iPad, but any word of it working with iPhone 4?

Yeah, I'd like to know too. how many pin-outs can their be on a doc connector.

Can someone give it a try?

I was kind of hoping they'd start moving everything to a standard set of functionality. It would be nice to have that kind of support on i4

It does not work with iPhone. I have connected it to an iPhone 4 and a 3G iPod touch running iOS 4. In both cases, for both camera kit adapters, the iPhone and iPod touch present an alert that says, "This accessory is not supported by iPhone." or "This accessory is not supported by iPod touch."

I hope that they update it to work with an iPhone/iTouch running iOS4. When I walk around taking photos, it would be nice to be able to dump an image to my iPhone using the Camera Connection Kit and upload an image to Flickr. I would be scared to take an iPad with me to an amusement park or any other crowded places. Not to mention, pulling out a huge iPad in a bad neighborhood to send photos to Flickr is a bad idea. Having the ability to be discreet with an iPhone/iTouch would be much safer.
