Itunes won't open - Error Message

For some reason now my Itunes won't open. Everytime I would try to open it I would get an error message saying: "Error unable to find file: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\pthreadVC2.dll." So I tryed repairing it and reinstalling it and now when it goes to install right before it finishes it says: "Error writing to find file: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\pthreadVC2.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory." Wich the directory is there when i go into the folder. So any ideas?

That's consistent with disk/file damage. Try running a chkdsk over your C drive. There's instructions and a guided help in the following Microsoft document:

[How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP|http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315265]

Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, does iTunes install properly afterwards?
