I have the latest update for my iPhone and iTunes. I manually sync music to my iPhone in iTunes.
Recently when I am done adding songs and disconnect my iPhone from iTunes and access my iPod app on my iPhone I get an error that there is no content and I need to purchase songs from iTunes. I then hooked my iPhone back to iTunes and my music is still there. But when I unplug it the iPhone shows no music. PLEASE HELP!!
When your iPhone is connected to iTunes and selected in the iTunes source list, what is the size of your iPhone's "Other" category shown at the bottom of the main iTunes window?
Hi, I have similar/same problem. Synced last nite with my home computer, and now can't see any music on my iphone, even though most of my storage is reported as remaining filled. Reset didn't change. Connected to work computer (not syncing) and it sees the music (and video) and lists as grayed out files.
I am having the same problem, and this is the second time now. First time around I reset the iPhone and re-loaded all of my music & videos from iTunes, and it worked fine for about a month. Not a process I want to go through again, as that involves several wasted hours of my life I will never recover. This weekend I went back and sync'ed a few more songs from my computer, and afterwards voila, all my songs and videos are gone again from my iPhone. I am looking at the settings on the phone right now and it's laughable, 2 songs, 0 videos but yet only 4.3 GB available out of 14.6 GB of capacity. Exceptionally frustrating. Anybody have any idea what I'm doing incorrectly? I must have a setting that is causing this (although it has happened twice now out of the blue, no settings changed on either iTunes or iPhone prior to the "error" occuring. Have had this phone for about 15 months.)
