Iphone Dead

I charged my phone for the night and when I woke up the next morning it was still dead. I can not make anything come up on the screen no matter what I do. I left it at the charger for practically an entire day and it has still been dead for about 3 days. I have tried holding the top and bottom buttons and nothing seems to work. Nothing happens when I plug my phone into my charger or my computer and I have tried multiple cords. It seems completely dead, anyone have any suggestions?

Yes that message had been popping up in the last week prior to it having trouble but the weird thing is that in the few days before this problem that message stopped appearing. I have tried it via computer and nothing and the same with different wall outlets, it doesn't appear able to recognize that its supposed to be charging or etc.

My Iphone had the same problem I kept thinking that it had to be the phone itself... I decided I didn't want to take it in before I tried alternative methods... I live about 300 miles away from a Genius Bar so it would be a long drive 😟
So I went out to walmart... I bought myself a brand new Iphone Charger. I tried it and well, it worked I guess you might wanna try that their about 30$ to 40$ I honestly do not think that would be the phone 😀

I took a photo with my iphone two hours ago, and put it in my pocket. When I tried to switch it on, it was dead.
O2 asked me to try a reset, and also to connect it to itunes and try a sync, but it was dead. So, they arranged to send me a (refurbished, cheeky g*ts!!) phone. Whilst fiddling with the phone, pressing the power and home buttons, I managed to restart it. The phone had a totally flat battery. It had mysteriously lost a 90% charge in less than 2 hours whilst switched off, and has also lost the last photo I took. Looks like the camera/album app can crash and drain the battery very quickly.
Apple minus 10 brownie points. O2 minus 10,000. Vodaphone next time.

My phone died today and by the time I was able to begin to deal with it all phone supports were closed, unavailable, not operating. I have had cell phones for over 15 years and this is the first time I have ever encountered such a problem without means of adequate support. Disgusting!!! (Nothing unusual. Just failure to reactivate after recharging a low battery--no problem at all with other phones). Any quick fixes out there?

My iphone crashed while charging too. It happened while I was overseas, which makes it all the more frustrating! It became extremely hot and nothing that I do can restart or switch it on, including pressing the home/power off buttons. It's been like this for a couple of days already. Can someone pls help? I didn't even manage to syn my latest data in time and now it crashed.....

My less than 3 month old iPhone went suddenly DEAD also, would no power on at all and would not respond to any charging or button pushing.

After reading the other posts on here, I was able to get it back on. I just held down the power button and the home button (I did have it plugged into my PC then also) and the apple logo came up. I did not lose any data or apps, it just was completely shut down. It had a good 80-90% just about an hour before it crashed. I took a photo, sent a few text messages and then put the phone in my pocket. I did not sit on it or drop it or anything. When I took it out of my pocket to check my email it was DEAD, no power.

Once I did get it back on, as described above, my iTunes said a new update was available, 3.1.3 I think.. I noticed it mentioned a fix for false battery life. I was using a new 3rd party 'iPhone compatible' car charger from Wal-Mart.....

I have the same issue. About 3 days ago I connected my iphone on a wall power using a ipod charger. Immediatelly my iphone displayed that usual message showing the charger was not compatible with an iphone blablabla. Next thing I see (after a few hours), black screen. I`m not sure if the charger is even relevant since my phone was only at 13% remaining juice.
Thinking that it just died beause it had no battery, I plugged in the office computer as usual and found it interesting that after the usual first minutes the red lightening charging sign didn`t show up.

When I got home I tried my iphone wall charger (original from apple) and still nothing. Plugged in my retractable generic usb on the back pannel of my desktop and nothing.

That was when I started pannic.

First thing I thought, normal long home pressing should quit any frozen app. Nothing
Second: a normal rest. Nothing
Third: I tried the home + lock 10 sec reset. Nothing
Fourth: Old school DFU mode by using both buttons then releasing power, etc, etc. Nothing.
Fifth: With Itunes opened, connected the iphone while pressing home. Nothing

As of right now I have a bricked phone as if the battery was completelly depleted and none of the methods here seemed to work. I even tried the computer restart method with the phone connected and nothing.

Does anyone know how to fix this??
Sorry for the long post...
