Installed 64 bit, iTunes.exe*32 shows in Task Manager

i have Windows 7, 64 bit operating system. Downloaded and installed iTunes64. But Task Manager shows iTunes.exe*32 on the Process tab. I get frequent lock ups when iTunes and Firefox are both open. I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that I don't really have the 64 bit version installed. Is there a compatibility setting that needs to be changed? What else could cause this to occur?

The itunes program is 32-bit, so that's normal. It's the 64-bit drivers that get downloaded when you install the 64-bit version.

I don't know why it would lock up specifically with Firefox. The first step is, does it do this in another windows account? Make sure that 2nd account itunes settings have the "copy files...." option NOT checked, or you will get duplicate music files when you add some to the new user library to test this.

Trying it in another windows account will tell us if it's user-specific or system-wide.
