Same here, but I thought my original scheduled delivery was 3 Apr. I'll have to keep watch since I'm in California and it usually takes UPS 7 days to get something to me from back east. I'll see when it gets to Sacramento as I believe that is the closest UPS aerial hub to me. Too bad the case I ordered at the same time won't be coming with it; it is scheduled to ship NLT 3 Apr.

Welcome to Apple Discussions!

Apple's e-mail have generally been for feedback, and support of existing products that are already purchased in specific categories such as iTunes store, and Mobileme/dotMac service inquiries. http://www.apple.com/contact/ lists all the means of Apple contact. If your desire is to find availability, go to your local store and ask to speak to the manager.

I got an email earlier this week as well stating that my iPad had been shipped. I've been watching the tracking several times throughout the day.
I've called UPS who doesn't have much knowledge as to why my package is delayed in KY. I contacted Apple again today and they told me that Apple did put a hold on all shipping to ensure that the iPads are sent on April 3rd and not earlier. So if it's all true on what they are saying, then it should still arrive on Saturday.

Actually it is probably in the U.S. Mine was in Lexington, KY on the 30th. UPS tracking showed it going through the customs brokerage and then yesterday, the 31st, it went In Transit from Lexington. However the Customs status entries were removed from the detailed tracking list, so only the China entries from the 29th are shown.

Frustrating to sit and watch this. Mine has said the following for two days:
GUANGZHOU, CN 04/02/2010 4:10 A.M. DEPARTURE SCAN
SHENZHEN, CN 03/30/2010 1:15 A.M. ORIGIN SCAN
CN 04/02/2010 9:06 P.M. BILLING INFORMATION

On the 31st, the order said:
GUANGZHOU, CN 04/01/2010 2:30 A.M. DEPARTURE SCAN
SHENZHEN, CN 03/30/2010 1:15 A.M. ORIGIN SCAN
CN 04/02/2010 9:06 P.M. BILLING INFORMATION

And then the Departure scan changed on the 1st, and it's been that way for two days. It's been billed since the 29th, when I got my "confirmation". Looking forward to seeing this thing on the door step but I don't have much hope that it'll be tomorrow.
