How do I burn a .img to DVD?

Hi,

I created a .img from iDVD. I tried to burn the .img straight to DVD from Finder, but all I got was a DVD with the .img file on it. I thought that burning the .img would actually create the DVD image (like burning a .iso image).

If I mount the .img in my MacBook then I can see the Video and Audio folders, so the img has the correct data.

How do I use the .img to create a DVD?

Thanks

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.2), iPhone + iPod Touch 16GB + iPod Nano 4GB + Home Brew PC + Windows 7

Use Disk Utility. Drag the .img file to the left sidebar, select it and click the Burn button in the toolbar.

Or, you can click Burn in the toolbar, and then select a disk image from the dialog that appears.
