You can only get the PUK from the paperwork that came with the SIM. Its not on the phone as that would be pretty pointless - its normally on the paperwork that came with the SIM card itself.

Its done that way as the original papers and the phone rarely end up in the same place so the phone doesn't get lost or stolen along with the unlock codes.

Its also to stop people being able to post on a forum and ask how to break into a phone 😉

Do this:

To obtain your PUK code, log into(your) myWireless Account and follow the steps below:

1. Select My Services
2. Select the My Phone/Device link
3. Select the Unblock SIM Card link
4. Follow the instructions on the pop-up page
