Fluqe On Stage with Logic 9

Hi all,

I'm butting my head up against this and am wondering if others are as well.

I use Logic 7 for my live shows and Fluqe's On Stage is an indispensable part of my live rig. I never want to touch the computer when I'm on stage.

I'm finally getting around to importing the songs into Logic 9 and have discovered that much to my chagrin On Stage doesn't seem to know what to do with a 'project' file versus a 'song' file.

Is anyone using On Stage with Logic 9? Is there a way to save to a 'song' versus a 'project'?

I have of course written to Fluqe but haven't heard back from them yet.

Thanks for any and all help.

Hello

Are you saying that this is a better alternative to MainStage (of which I know close to nothing about) being used live. The OnStage program looks pretty slick, but I've heard that the MS program would be a perfect way to use Logic's power live?

Let me know, I'm planning to use one or the other soon, as using Logic live so far has been like walking on egg shells.

Best,
Saurus

Completely diffferent animals.

All OnStage really does is let you easily and quickly switch songs in Logic. You are still using Logic while actually performing, so if this doesn't suit you OnStage is going to change anything.

Mainstage is a complete live performance solution, and is better suited to being an onstage sound module, or effects machine imo.

For my purposes using Logic for live work is better, at least at this time. MainStage is great and I will be learning how to use it better soon. But being midi based, not audio based and with the way that I'm building songs on stage Logic is a good choice for me. I've done a lot of work to get it so and have it at a point now where I have complex mapping arrangements and and nice way of working with it.

Plus I don't want to take the time to take my sets and bring them into another program.
