getting iphoto to time stamp a photo to be emailed

I took a few picture in November of 2009 and am trying t email them today. I need the time stamp of when the photos were taken to remain on the photo in the email.

iPhone 3GS and iMac, iPhone OS 3.0.1

You could use the Photos->Batch Change->Title to Date and Time menu option. Then when you add the photos to an email via the Email button you can select the checkboxes to include the Titles and Descriptions. The date and time will be added to the email under each photo along with any description you may have added to the photo. The photos original file name will be retained.

If you export the photo (file menu ==> export) and include title and keywords (and location if you want) then every thing will be there

Note that there is a difference between file attributes (which you typically see using the finder) and photo attributes (like the EXIF data) that are part of the photo and require a viewer like EXIF viewer - http://homepage.mac.com/aozer/EV/
