Okay, I have a WUSB54G V2 Linksys Wireless Adapter that I used to use for my PC, but I have a G4 Tower, running 10.4.11 that I want to hook it up to. I've been searching for about 2 hours for a driver for it and have come up with nothing. I have learned some stuff about the RT2500 driver by Ralink to possibly help with it, and I followed some tutorials for it as well. Nothing seems to work though. If you could possibly help me I'd be forever grateful. thanks!
Thanks for those links! Now the Ralink program actually works. For some reason when i followed one of the tutorials it would not. I am still unable to find the right driver for it. It's really driving me crazy. All I want to do is get the internet working on my Mac.
the rt2500 drivers will only work on a version 4 linksys adapter.I know this after two weeks of wresteling my mac mini to the floor every day till it finally worked.
unlike windows it's a drawn out process, but i didn't have usb 2.0 on my xp machine, only on my mac ,which has been sitting in a closet since i bought it years ago.
